Liberté, égalité, beer not tea

I can blog I will blog

I'm going to 'relaunch' this blog' and post regular
with the guide of the new description hopefully bringing in plenty of beer stuff with social justice

and **PLEASE** a little discussion

I was tempted to open this bit with some remarks on Metro papers awful article on
Smashing Pumpkins but music & beer is totally rocked by a V. good friend.

So I'm going straight in with Ale
now I've got my specialist craft beers & real ales for Christmas
ordered so brew money is a bit short.

If it's not put aside or ageing... well there is one bottle
Partisan's X Ale, a new take on dark mild (you should see my poem on mild :P)
which I am sure will be most excellent & will report back.

Avoiding specialist beer shops & independent wine merchants ARSE BISCUITS
to keep the little money left to heat, eat & pay for Christmas.

So to the supermarket, new on the shelf Greene King IPA which is £2 (or 4 for £6)
Now I admit I am no big fan of GK, Suffolk Strong & Double hop are enjoyable
so it seems the higher the ABV the more agreeable.

So at 5.4% this might have a chance, even with the clear bottle.
The aroma is the big let down
UK brewers don't get aromatic, it smells like ripe armpits.
The taste, there is some some berry, some bitterness
but not anybodies IPA sorry.

This is just better than NO beer
but to be brutally honest the stronger & premium GK beers
it's where the basic, budget standard should be

As always more than kind regards
Bevis.
